Tecnología es todo lo que creamos para sobrevivir a nuestra propia especie. Para irnos, desde el miedo hacia el miedo, desde un amanecer hacia un motor.

Hoy se cumplen dos décadas desde que el 404 podría haber ocurrido por última vez. Este organismo nos ha hecho latir alrededor de un mundo que avanza entre cenizas, con la desesperanza que vuelve a una misión posible, por esa extraña patria llamada humanidad.

Las tecnologías no pueden arrancarse el corazón. Tampoco nacen para arrojarse hacia el vacío. En cambio, la sorpresa siempre encuentra una razón para esquivar nuestra confianza en el futuro.

¿Qué es la razón, sino un motivo para abandonar nuestro estado de alerta?
¿Qué es la alerta, sino una forma brusca de atención sin piedad?
¿Qué es la piedad, sino un relieve para alejarnos de la vida de otros?
Los otros: imposibles, porque todo el tiempo cambian sin hacerlo y el cambio sin transformación es sucesión.

Nada predictivo prescinde de lo observado hasta que las ideas se ocultan de las cámaras. La superabundancia de herramientas odia las decisiones libres porque vive de los efectos secundarios. Toda tecnología se extingue gritando que nuestra vida es más larga que útil y veloz. Cuando la obsolescencia programada es la nuestra, la tecnología de los muertos vuelve a casa.

La libertad del tiempo sin sus máquinas dice que no hay certezas sin historias absolutas, pero si destruimos la incógnita del tiempo, quizás se escuchen más tarde las campanas. ¿Volverán a la tierra quienes dejaron de respirar tan pronto? ¿Hay verdad si la interrumpe un momento más justo? No hay convenciones que duren para siempre, aunque el desastre y el refugio vivan en la repetición. Solo el sueño preciso nos transforma.

Hemos creado y aniquilado al tiempo desde que comenzamos a utilizarlo en nuestra contra. Hasta en las bases fundantes más dignas de nuestro devenir, sigue encerrado entre signos de pregunta. Habitemos el tiempo como acción. Quienes construyen con el derrumbe son quienes pueden impedir el próximo.

Cuando ya no importe vivir tarde y ver morir temprano, todo ocurrirá al mismo tiempo y sin tiempo. Todo será tecnología.

Manifesto Hominis Circus

Technology is everything that we create to survive our own species. To leave, from fear to fear, from a sunrise to an engine.

Today it’s been two decades since 404 could have happened for the last time. This living organism has made us beat around a world that moves forward through ashes, with the kind of hopelessness that makes a mission possible, for that strange homeland called humanity.

Technologies can’t rip their hearts out. Neither are they born to leap into the void. However, surprise always finds a reason to dodge our trust in the future.

What is reason if not a motive to abandon our state of alert?
What is alert if not an abrupt manner of merciless attention?
What is mercy if not a bas-relief to keep us away from the lives of others?
The others are impossible, because they constantly change without doing it, and change without transformation is succession.

Nothing predictive can do without what is observed until ideas hide from the cameras. The overabundance of tools hates free choices because it lives off the secondary effects. Every technology dies out screaming that our life is long rather than useful and fast. When the programmed obsolescence is ours, the technology of the dead returns home.

The freedom of time without its machines says that there are no certainties without absolute stories, but if we destroy the mystery of time, maybe the bells could be heard later. Will those who stopped breathing so soon return to earth? Is there truth if a fairer moment interrupts it? There are no conventions that can last forever, even if the disaster and the shelter live in the repetition. Only the precise dream transforms us.

We have created and annihilated time ever since we started to use it against us.  Even in the most dignified foundation stones of our becoming, it is still locked between question marks. Let’s inhabit time as an action. Those who build with the collapse are the ones who can prevent the next one.

When it no longer matters to live late and to see dying early, everything will happen at the same time and without time. Everything will be technology.
