Scott Hessels

Scott Hessels is a North American Portugal-based artist whose artworks explore how emerging technologies can help us better understand our environment. His site-specific installations have utilized sensors, robotics, GPS, and adaptive materials, often in partnership with scientific organizations. His New Media films and installations have been shown internationally in museum exhibitions focusing on both technology and fine art.
