Gina Valenti

Gina Valenti is an Argentine artist, composer, writer, and educator specializing in the intersection of Art, Technology, and Education. She holds a Ph.D. in Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the Faculty of Humanities and Arts at the National University of Rosario, where she currently serves as a Full Professor, and works as creator and director of the Center for Studies “Ctrl+Z”.

She is the founder and director of the “404 International Festival of Art and Technology”, Argentina’s first independent festival of its kind, spanning 23 years across 14 countries.

Her creative work includes visual art exhibitions, literature, and international musical performances in New York, London, Vienna, Taipei, Rome, Moscow, Fukuoka, and Buenos Aires.

She frequently serves as an international juror and guest lecturer. She has taught and lectured on Art and Technology at institutions worldwide, including Universidad de Buenos Aires, Rodchenko Art School in Moscow, National Taiwan University of Arts, University of León (Spain), China University of Technology (Taiwan), University of Massachusetts (USA), The Players Club in NYC, and Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City.

Since 2022, she is a Board Member of the Institute of General Semantics in New York.

Dr. Gina Valenti, Creator and Director of the 404 International Festival of Art & Technology, will talk about the creation of the festival’s 23rd edition in North East England. She will introduce the 404 Manifesto (published here) and discuss the key concepts behind the 2026 festival theme, False Fake.
