22th 404 & Talk
Today, more than ever, it is crucial to analyze and reevaluate the terms and conditions we have accepted to build a sense of digital belonging. Communication systems don’t strengthen human bonds but shape and distort them, merging contradictions. We went from humans into users, losing imagination to a corporate-driven imaginary, and confusing convenience with purpose. Despite the system’s attempts to control us, human unpredictability, emotion, and resistance persist. The moments when the system fails to predict us, and the unexplained distances we create, reside within the foundations that defy its power, echoing the most defiant agreement: being human. Will our ability to humanize and dehumanize ultimately set us free? Perhaps, we will need instructions to survive.
