Informe o El Agobiante anhelo de ser todo, menos humanos (The Smothering Yearning For Being Everything But Humans)
Still Image

INFORME OR THE SMOTHERING YEARNING FOR BEING EVERYTHING BUT HUMANS. 2018 Informe (Formless): adj. without the required shape, figure, or perfection.
“(…) Informe (Formless) is not just an adjective with a certain meaning, but also a term used to denigrate, generally demanding that everything should have its shape…
“Informe” (l’informe) by Georges Bataille in the surrealist journal “Documents” (1929)

This series of hybrid bodies created as half characters that exist in real life, half post-production constructions, was created in 2018. Without the desire to be a premonition, it found a path that we all suffered in 2020: the arrogant desire to explore ourselves, to exist and to be in spite of distance: omnipresence, as they call it.
Whether it’s because of evolution or competitiveness, we aim to be AllPresent, AllKnowledgeable, AllInterested, even AllSuffering. But, where does all of this takes us to if we’re always in the middle of a temporal whirlwind, where the body can barely be enough to be a body? when will it be enough to be body, time, and space?
